This is the World Scout Jamboree. For more info, go to

Aimed at 14 to 17 year olds, participants attend the event in Contingents – one from each country where there are Scouts recognised by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). At the 21st World Scout Jamboree held in the United Kingdom in July 2007, there were youth representatives from 156 countries.

To be a participant at the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden 2011, you need to have turned 14 but not yet had your 18th birthday at the start of the camp. That means you must have been born between 25 July 1993 and 27 July 1997.

Members of Scouts Westmount who are 18 or older can participate as part of the International Service Team (IST).
