Westmount Scouts and their families and friends are invited by the city of Westmount and Congregation Shaar Hashomayim to the Chanukah Candle Lighting on Wednesday, December 5th at 4:30 pm at Westmount City Hall. After the lighting everyone will head to the synagogue at 450 Kensington Ave for Chanukah activities, music and treats. The program includes craft activity for all ages, a recitation of the miracle of Chanukah and treats such as dreidals and Chanukah geld. There will be traditional food as well. If any Scouts, Venturers or Rovers would like to help out please contact Stephanie Novick-Fernandez at 937-9471 ext 142

Remembrance Day Ceremony at Cenotaph

Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony where we remember the soldiers who served in the wars.Youth are asked to help hand out programs before the ceremony at 13:30 hrs and the ceremony will start at 14:00hrs.We will meet in front of Westmount City Hall .The ceremony will finish at approximately 15:00hrs.

Sixer & Second Area Camp at Camp Jackson Dodds

This year's training camp will be held on the weekend of September 28th to 30th, 2007. It is a great opportunity for the Sixers and Seconds to learn about their roles while enjoying a fun weekend camp. The highlight is always the investiture of Sixers and Seconds in a campfire setting on a Saturday night.
The Cost will be $45.00 per person. Please contact your leaders if you are a third year Cub, a Sixer or Second and interested in attending this camp.

The Magic of Scouting: Westmount Fall Camp

Scout members, their friends and families are invited to spend a magical mystical week-end at Wilwaken Camp near Magog for the annual fall camp. Everyone is welcome to come out and see what Scouting is about and enjoy a week-end of discovery, magic and the great outdoors. Cost:$60 incudes transportation food, sports equipment and accomodation in cabins. Parent volunteers welcome. Handouts are available from leaders.
