2nd Westmount Christmas Tree at the Fine Arts Museum

On Thursday November 27th Scouters from Westmount will be decorating the Scout Tree at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts on Sherbrooke St W (north side) as part of the annual display of Community Christmas Trees. The 2ND Westmount Cubs have made beautiful decorations to represent their Scouting community. Anyone who is free during the day to help decorate the tree is welcome. Speak to one of the leaders.
The 2ND Westmount Cubs and Beavers will be visiting the museum on Wednesday Dec 17 in lieu of the regular Wednesday meeting.
Visitors can view the collection of trees free of charge throughout the holiday season.

Westmount Park celebrates Remembrance Day - Nov 8th

The Cubs and Beavers participate in the Remembrance Day parade, ceremonies and service at Westmount Park Church (our sponsor). Meet in the church hall at 4:15 – it’s at the corner of de Maisonneuve and Lansdowne. The service will end at about 5:30, when refreshments will be served. The whole family is welcome. It's all indoors so bad weather won't be a problem. Please dress as smartly as possible.

Westmount Park Cub Pack Investiture - Oct 9th

Families of tenderpaws who will be invested into the Westmount Park Cub Pack are invited to attend the ceremony at 7:50 pm at the end of the regular Thursday night meeting on October 9. Each Cub needs a uniform shirt, navy blue pants, sash, and Cub book. These items are available at the Scouts Canada shop in Dorval (http://www.qc.scouts.ca/adult/boutique.htm). Each new cub will receive the group badges, epaulettes and neckerchief.
