Montreal Area Rover Scouts present an evening of comedy and laughter on Saturday, April 23 at 8 pm at the Comedy Nest, 2312 St Catherine St (Cineplex Forum). Tickets are $20, 2@$30.
This is as a fundraiser for their upcoming expedition to Nepal. In May a group of about 12 youth plan to spend a month in Nepal assisting the reconstruction and reforestation of this country that was hit by a devastating earthquake one year ago. They are working with the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and Nepal Scouts for their community projects in several areas of Nepal. For tickets contact Doug Leahey or Virginia Elliott

Scout members and their families are welcome to join the Westmount contingent to walk in the 193rd St Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 20 from noon to 4 pm. Ingrid Birker of McGill Science Outreach will be giving a kids/family workshop on bees - "Bees, Flowers & Honey" - from 18:30 - 19:30 in the Club Room of Victoria Hall. Participation is limited, so be sure to sign up in advance at Victoria Hall or at the Library.

Turn out your lights to show your support for sustainable practices and to show you care about the environment on Saturday March 19 from 8:30 - 9:30 pm. The city of Westmount will be holding an evening of special activities, workshops, crafts, films, speakers and special guests at Victoria Hall, 4626 Sherbrooke W from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Astronomers will set up telescopes to enjoy the darkened sky. Claire de lune café will have snacks for sale. Bring your own cup for a discount. Passes for the bee workshop for kids available at Victoria Hall and the Westmount Public library.

Westmount CUBS take a March Break Feb 29 - March 4
