World Jamboree Raffle Ticket Winner

The World Jamboree raffle, auctioned off by the Rovers, was won by Oliver Mersereau on June 27th. The prize is a Loon print 2nd edition by Sharon Girdwood. This raffle is in support of the Rovers' trip to the 21st World Jamboree in England.

Year End Beaver Outing to the Train Museum - June 9

The Beavers will be spending the afternoon at the Exporail train museum in St. Constant. Come out for a few hours, inspect the old trains, tour around the new expanded facilities and go for a trolley ride!

Camp Jackson Dodds summer camp - July 15-21

Meka from 2ND Westmount Cubs is organizing the summer camp at the new Jackson Dodds at the Tamaracouta Scout Reserve for the week of July 15 to 21. The new dining hall and activities centre at CJD is almost finished and will be open for this summer's camping season. Any Cub interested in going to camp this summer with the Cubs please contact your leader.

Scouts Westmount will be holding its registration evening in Westmount Park Church Hall (parking lot entrance). Please come prepared with your youth's health information (medicare card number and expiry, date of last tetanus shot, physician contact info).

Scouts Westmount is holding its 10th annual Scout-a-thon on Sunday, May 6th starting at 9:00am. During the Scout-a-thon, the youths follow a specified route in Westmount Park by either biking, roller-blading, running, or walking during a two hour period. The youths collect pledges for their efforts. The event ends with a hotdog lunch for all participants and family members.
