Who: Senior Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and adults
We are looking for able bodies to help prepare the camps for summer and work on a variety of projects. The workday will start at 9:00 am at the TSR kitchen. Lunch and supper are included.
Please talk to your leader about participating.
Westmount Fall Camp - Oct 1 to 3, 2010
Submitted by admin on Mon, 03/29/2010 - 10:56.Scouts Westmount members (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers), their friends and families are invited to spend a week-end at Camp Kinkora near St-Adolphe de Howard for the annual fall camp.
Everyone is welcome to come out and see what Scouting is about and enjoy a week-end of discovery and the great outdoors. Cost: $tbd includes transportation, food, sports equipment, and accomodation in cabins. Parent volunteers welcome. At a later date, handouts will be available from leaders and will be included as attachments below.
EARTH HOUR: Stargazing at Summit Lookout / Observation des astres au belvédère

Astronomers will be on hand with telescopes to enjoy and explain the darkened sky.Refreshments and music provided. BYOB (Bring your old bulb) and get a compact fluorescent - one per household. Special guest: Astronaut, Marc Garneau will share his view of the night sky.
Shuttle bus will leave Westmount City Hall going up to the Summit starting at 7:30 pm.

186th St Patrick's Day Parade - Sunday 14 March
Submitted by Virginia on Mon, 03/08/2010 - 17:31.Everyone is invited to be part of the Westmount contingent in the Montreal St Patrick's Day parade on Sunday March 14. A bus will leave Victoria Hall, 4626 Sherbrooke St W at 11:30 am to take participants to the float. Participants can also make their way on their own to the float on René-Lévesque Blvd (Section G) between Crescent & Mountain St. Please arrive by noon dressed warmly, wearing your neckerchief and something green. Refreshments will be provided (but there are no washroom facilities on board). Participants can walk or ride on the float (please reserve your spot with your leader if you wish to ride). The bus will return to Westmount after the parade around 4 pm.
Stoney Point Area Founder's Day Celebration - Tues 23 Feb 2010

All Scouting and Guiding groups in the Stoney Point and Monklands areas are invited to celebrate the birthday of Baden-Powell, founder of the Scouting movement, on Tuesday, February 23 at Montreal West United Church at 6:15 pm. Family and friends are welcome.
