Westmount Park Scouts were busy as usual during weekly meetings in the fall.
All sections of Scouts Westmount are invited to participate in an evening of outdoor fun at Beaver Lake at Mont-Royal.
The whole family is welcome, providing a parent will be staying to supervise them.
Meet at the Beaver Lake pavilion (2000 Ch Remembrance) at 6:30.
If you want to do tobogganing, bring your own toboggan; and we strongly suggest a helmet.
If you don’t have skates you can rent them (and helmets) there.
We will provide hot chocolate.
We’d prefer a parent stays to supervise his/her cub, but if this is not possible please let your leader know ahead of time; cubs whose parents do not stay will definitely need a helmet for both skating and tobogganing.
If the weather is really bad cubs will have a regular meeting at the school – please check your email on Thursday.
Stoney-Point Scouting will celebrate Baden-Powell's birthday on Wednesday, February 20 at Victoria Hall, 4626 Sherbrooke W from 6:30 - 8 pm. Songs, games, treats and more. Families welcome.

An important scouting event will be happening at Victoria Hall on Wednesday 20th February in the evening (between 20:00 & 21:00 – after the Founder’s Day ceremony), and we’re putting together a group of cubs & scouts to sing some songs – please let me know if your cub or scout would like to do this.
The songs will be: The Scout Hymn, Land of the Silver Birch, and Oh Canada (bilingual version).
If your cub can sing well, likes to sing, and is prepared to attend a couple of rehearsals in February please let Andrew Macdougall (Akela – Westmount Park) know: 514 937 5527
