UNUSUALLY, Westmount Park cubs will meet on TUESDAY 23 April. DROP OFF and PICK UP are at the Westmount Park School ENTRANCE. FULL UNIFORM is requested. Do not bring your books.

A visit to the Armoury on Ste Catherine Street (next to the Westmount Arena) has been arranged, to learn about Canada’s peacekeeping missions and talk to soldiers who have served on them (Purple Star B 14). The cubs will walk there and back as a group.

There will be NO MEETING on THURSDAY 25 APRIL.

Earth Day Clean up at the Summit Woods SUNDAY 14 April @ 1 pm

The Earth Day clean-up of Summit Woods will take on SUNDAY APRIL 14 from 1-3 pm. Bring a friend, your family, your pet to help clean away winter debris and show how Scouting contributes to the community.
Work gloves and garbage bags supplied. There will be refreshments as well. Everyone is welcome.

Directions to the Summit Lookout (10 Summit Circle):from Sherbrooke W go North on Grosvenor to Sunnyside; Right on Sunnyside; continue EAST past Lexington where Sunnyside jogs to the right; continue East on Sunnyside to the Y intersection of Upper Bellevue on left; take upper Bellevue one block N to Summit Circle; turn right; lookout is one block on right.

Global Media would like to do a report on Scouts in the community, so you may get to be on TV!

Birding Outing Full to Baie du Febvre for 3rd year Cubs, Scouts and Venturers

Bird Protection Quebec is organizing a family trip to Baie-du-Febvre to observe Snow Geese about 90 km. from Montreal. Participants will travel by bus to this excellent birding site.
This is a wonderful opportunity to view thousands of Snow Geese, waterfowl and early migrants. There is no charge for this trip: however reservations are required. Please contact Virginia at stoneypt@scouts.ca.
