Westmount Cubs and Beavers prepared decorations for our "Scouts Canada" tree at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Visitors can view the collection of trees free of charge throughout the holiday season (www.mmfa.qc.ca) as part of the annual display of Community Christmas Trees.
Everyone is invited to the lighting of the first candle for Chanukah at Westmount City Hall, 4333 Sherbrooke W on Wednesday, November 27 from 5 pm - 6:30 pm. There will be the story of Chanukah, the blessing of the candle by the rabbis from local synagogues, music, games, traditional food and treats.

2ND Westmount Cubs are invited to attend this event in place of the regular meeting.
2ND Westmount Cubs are invited to attend the Christmas Tree Lighting in lieu of the regular Wed meeting. The City of Westmount Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday, Dec. 2 from 6:30 - 8 pm at Westmount City Hall, 4333 Sherbrooke W.
The first part of the event takes place in the council chambers with storytelling by members of City Council and carols by The Burton Street Singers. Outside there will be carolling (dress appropriately)and after the lighting the party will move to the Lawn Bowling Clubhouse next door for hot chocolate and cookies prepared by the Monklands Girl Guides, Westmount Park Beavers and 2ND Westmount Cubs. The event is free but everyone is asked to bring a donation of non perishable food items for the Christmas Food Drive.

Scouts Westmount recently participated in the City event to mark Remembrance Day.
Scouts from Second Westmount and Westmount Park participated in the City's celebration at the Cenotaph near Westmount City Hall.
